Manifesto
Wean ourselves, step by step, off services we do not control.
1. Your data stays with you
What you ask an assistant says a lot about you. Here it never leaves the machine you own. No account, no telemetry, no "we may use your conversations to improve our services".
2. Open and auditable, or nothing
Every building block is open source, and every model is open-weight. You can read it, change it, move it. If one part disappears tomorrow, you replace that part, not your whole setup.
3. Sovereignty means portability, not purity
We do not pretend that a home GPU matches the largest cloud models. It does not. Sovereignty is being able to leave: open models, open formats, standard interfaces. Renting a big open model for a heavy job is fine, as long as nothing ties you to whoever rents it to you.
4. A human decides what cannot be undone
Agents propose, test and prepare. Deleting, publishing, paying: a person confirms. Every time.
5. Show the failures
Local models write plausible code that sometimes does not run. We test what they write, we show what broke and why. A tutorial that only shows successes teaches you nothing about the day it breaks.
6. Learn by building
You do not need to be an expert to start. You need to build one piece, understand it, then the next. That is the whole series.
